A €200 million investment is creating an innovative, carbon-neutral brewery in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, opening in 2026. This facility will be Ireland's second-largest brewery, powered entirely by renewable energy, producing beers like Rockshore, Harp, Smithwick's, and Kilkenny.
About the Role
We are seeking Maintenance Technicians responsible for maintaining equipment and assets across the brewery, utilities, and water treatment plants. You will support operations and maintenance in a shift-based environment, managing SAP process orders and maintenance planning.
You will ensure health and safety compliance, maintain equipment, monitor asset performance, and drive continuous improvement to support team success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work across production areas such as raw materials handling, brewhouse, cold block, and utilities, supporting departmental KPIs.
* Uphold safety, quality, food safety, and environmental standards.
* Collaborate to resolve equipment issues and provide maintenance support for production.
* Coach operators in autonomous maintenance and support capital projects.
* Plan work orders and spare parts for maintenance activities.
* Manage permits for external contractors and perform isolations as needed.
* Apply Manufacturing Excellence tools to improve site performance.
About You
You should be a qualified Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Technician with at least Junior Certificate or equivalent.
Additional requirements include:
* Ability to organize tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Knowledge of PM and Reliability Maintenance techniques.
* Understanding of asset performance and maintenance strategies, with problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of SAP-PM (planning, scheduling, execution).
* Basic financial awareness, understanding maintenance costs and budgeting.
