Our client is seeking a Programme Executive Energy to support the delivery of energy programmes, sustainability initiatives, and climate action targets within a public sector setting.
This role focuses on coordinating energy programmes, stakeholder engagement, energy efficiency measures, and decarbonisation activities across public sector organisations.
The successful candidate will work across programme delivery, energy management, environmental initiatives, and reporting, supporting the rollout of national energy and sustainability priorities.
Location: Cork/Dublin /Sligo - all locations are hybrid Salary: €52,546 Contract: 12-month The Role Support coordination and delivery of energy programmes across public sector bodies Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive progress on sustainability and climate action initiatives Assist in the development and rollout of energy management supports tailored to organisations of varying scale Coordinate programme activities including data collection, analysis, and reporting against energy targets Support delivery of training sessions, workshops, and stakeholder engagement initiatives Contribute to communications, case studies, and programme materials to support engagement and awareness Monitor programme progress, identify risks, and support continuous improvement in delivery Assist with budget tracking and cost oversight across programme activities Represent the organisation at meetings, site visits, and stakeholder events About You Degree (NFQ Level 7 or higher) in business, engineering, science, sustainability, or a related discipline Minimum 3 years experience in energy programmes, sustainability, programme coordination, or public sector delivery Strong organisational and coordination skills with ability to manage multiple priorities Experience working with internal and external stakeholders Strong communication and reporting skills Good IT and data handling skills Desirable Experience Experience in energy efficiency, decarbonisation, or climate-related initiatives Experience working in or with the public sector Programme coordination experience across multiple stakeholders Exposure to budgeting or cost tracking Knowledge of energy or environmental policy Apply: Send your CV to Ben Higgins via the link below.
