The role of a site engineer is critical in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects. As a site engineer, you will be responsible for setting out and checking works as required for the project, ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.

In this capacity, you will liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning and construction of the project. You will support the Project Manager/Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard. Your primary objective will be to maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and site personnel.

To excel in this position, you must possess a thorough understanding of construction principles and practices. A degree in engineering or a related discipline is essential. Additionally, you must have a minimum of three years' experience as a site engineer. Proficiency in using setting out instruments and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination is also mandatory.
