Experienced Estimator Sought for Building Services
We are seeking an experienced M&E Estimator to join our expanding Building Services team in Dublin.
This is a central role to developing accurate, competitive, and technically robust estimates for both mechanical and electrical packages across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed and fully scoped M&E cost estimates for projects of varying scale and complexity.
2. Analyse tender drawings, specifications, schematics, and design documentation to ensure all mechanical and electrical components are accurately identified and quantified.
3. Collaborate with engineering and project delivery teams to develop practical, cost-effective solutions and identify value engineering opportunities.
4. Source, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations for both mechanical and electrical trades, ensuring compliance, competitiveness, and technical suitability.
5. Maintain current knowledge of market pricing, labour rates, material costs, and emerging technologies within the M&E industry.
6. Assist with the preparation of tender submissions, clarifications, and supporting documentation, ensuring alignment with company procedures and client requirements.
7. Contribute to handover processes by providing clear cost breakdowns and supporting information to project teams post-award.

Requirements:
* A degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* 5+ years' experience in M&E estimating or a similar building services estimating role.
* Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems and construction methodologies.
* Excellent analytical, numerical, and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
* Confident communication abilities, capable of working independently or within multidisciplinary teams.
* Proficiency in estimating software, digital measurement tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
* A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to perform well under tender deadlines.
