Known for efficient execution, attention to detail, and strong client relationships, they specialise in retail fit-out and maintenance, working with top brands and retail spaces from £250k up to £3.5 million in value.The Role:They are looking for an Ireland-based Director of Operations (or experienced Operations Manager) to lead the construction operations.This is a hands-on leadership position, based out of our Head Office in Shannon, with regular travel to projects in the UK (typically every two weeks for 2 nights). You’ll oversee 5 simultaneous projects and manage a team of 6–10 staff, ensuring excellence in execution, client satisfaction, and continued growth.This role is ideal for a smart, presentable, and tech-savvy individual who’s not afraid of hard work and is excited to take ownership of operational success.Key Responsibilities:Lead the construction team across multiple commercial fit-out and maintenance projects.Oversee project execution from planning to completion, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget compliance.Liaise with clients, designers, and subcontractors, both remotely and in person.Maintain oversight of 5+ active projects, ranging from £250k to £3.5 million.Travel to UK project sites approximately every two weeks (3-day visits).Support new business development—bonus incentives apply for successful contributions.Report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with senior leadership.What We're Looking For:10+ years’ experience in construction, ideally retail fit-out or commercial interiors.Track record of delivering multiple projects successfully, simultaneously.Confident communicator with a presentable, professional manner.Highly organised with strong time management skills.Comfortable with tech and digital project collaboration tools.Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic.Spanish language skills a plus, but not required.What We Offer:Salary: €80,000+ per annumBonusPensionCompany CarTravel Expenses: All costs covered for UK visitsWork Culture: Supportive, growth-oriented, and professionalThis is not a remote role and will need to be Ireland based.Please get in contact if you are interested!!
