This is a highly specialized position that requires an accomplished accountant to take on key responsibilities in our organization. We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience and a proven track record of success in the field.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Hold Full membership of Chartered Accountants Ireland or ACCA (with Irish audit qualification if statute audit work is offered) and obtain a Practising Certificate to operate in public practice.
o Minimum two years of approved post-membership experience in public practice under supervision, including at least three years of audit training, including a minimum of 44 weeks in statutory audit, logged through recognized systems.
* Required Skills and Qualifications:
o Demonstrated expertise in at least two technical areas, such as Financial Reporting, Audit & Assurance, Tax Advisory, Corporate Planning, Information Systems, or General Management, with experience preparing or signing statutory audit reports, managing client relationships, and overseeing compliance.
o Meet Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) standards as specified by the regulator and maintain CPD requirements over prior compliance periods.
o Compliant with current Public Practice Regulations, including firm registration, monitoring, and ethical obligations.
