Digital Manufacturing Digital Enablement Lead - must have valid EU Work Permit and Irish residency, Cork
PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation solutions with offices in Ireland, the United States, and Puerto Rico, serving the Life Science, F&B, and Utilities industries, is looking for an experienced Digital Manufacturing Digital Enablement Lead.
This is a site-based role with an expectation to be on-site 2-3 days per week. There may be occasions requiring additional on-site presence depending on project needs.
Role Description
Reporting to the Digital Manufacturing Project Lead, the candidate will be responsible for the scoping and delivery of digital elements on the project. They will work closely with the Digital Manufacturing Product teams to translate delivery into scope elements that meet project budgets and schedules. The role also involves collaborating with local site stakeholders to identify capabilities needed for a futuristic digital facility and defining clear delivery scopes.
The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of tech transfer processes and the commercialization aspects specific to API sites.
Role Functions
* Lead efforts on capital projects to deliver digital initiatives.
* Develop Digital Enablement Strategy aligned with the site roadmap and capabilities.
* Coordinate with operational and digital stakeholders to identify and scope digital capabilities.
* Ensure capabilities are prioritized before discussing technologies.
* Collaborate with above-site product teams to deliver high-level summaries of capabilities and requirements during FEL stages.
* Possess technical understanding of shop floor applications such as DeltaV, AVEVA PI, Werum Pax-X MES.
* Coordinate efforts between above-site teams and local site teams.
* Communicate effectively about digital tools and their benefits.
* Work extensively with the wider Digital Manufacturing Team on integrations.
Role Requirements
* BSc Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
* Strong knowledge of digital deliverables in automation, IT, AVEVA PI, MES, BAS, and related validation efforts.
* Must have a valid EU work permit and Irish residency.
* Desired: Experience in delivering digital manufacturing projects at GMP sites, including capability rollout and collaboration with above-site teams to match capabilities to technologies.
