Job Role:
A Store Manager is required to lead and manage the daily operations of a sports retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, staff management, customer experience, security, and stock management.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drive business performance by meeting and exceeding store targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Recruit, train, coach, and develop staff to achieve business objectives.
* Manage cash, wage costs, and systems administration.
* Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to engage customers and drive sales.
* Maintain a secure environment, monitoring potential shoplifters and following security guidelines.
* Ensure overall health and safety in the store.
* Identify customer requirements and develop additional business opportunities.
* Deliver excellent store standards consistently.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* 2 years of retail management experience.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, people management, and leadership skills.
* Passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience with an understanding of how this drives sales and affects the bottom line.
* Experience in visual merchandising is desirable.
* Strong product knowledge.
* Proficient in IT skills, including Excel and SAP.
