This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to work as a trusted advisor to a broad client base, supporting complex tax matters and strategic planning. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to the continued growth of the practice, and play a key role in mentoring and developing talent within the team. Healthcare coverage Continuous professional development opportunities Generous annual leave Hybrid working arrangement About You Professionally qualified (e.g. ACA, CTA, ATT, ACCA or international equivalent) or possess significant relevant experience Strong expertise in UK corporation tax with a broad awareness of other UK taxes Significant experience in tax advisory, ideally with a focus on M&A transactions and cross-border structuring Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including tax due diligence for acquisitions and disposals Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong client relationships, with excellent communication skills Ability to lead, inspire, and mentor junior team members, supporting career development and service excellence Commercially minded with the ability to identify risks, opportunities, and practical solutions Confident in managing multiple priorities and performing effectively under pressure About Your New Role: Always: Acting as the primary contact for a portfolio of corporate clients, delivering tailored tax advisory services Advising on tax risks, compliance obligations, transaction structuring, and strategic planning opportunities Collaborating with in-house and external specialists (e.g. Financial Due Diligence, wider tax teams) to deliver seamless solutions Translating complex technical matters into clear, actionable insights for clients Often: Leading tax due diligence projects for M&A transactions, identifying risks and opportunities Providing tax advice on transaction structuring, including implications of changing legislation Meeting with clients to discuss business changes, upcoming tax developments, and planning strategies Reviewing UK corporate tax computations and identifying areas for improvement and efficiency Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the growth of the practice Leading and developing high-performing teams, supporting career growth and service excellence Occasionally: Taking a leading role in major, cross-functional advisory projects Driving innovation, efficiency, and process improvements within the Corporate Tax team Never: Expected to work late for the sake of presenteeism, performance is measured by impact, not hours Required to ride a unicycle and sing nursery rhymes in the office Interested?
