The Role:
This role involves working on technology and process optimization programs to achieve corporate objectives. As a Project Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the initial scoping and execution of these programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate business processes to scope requirements and design fit-for-purpose processes and technology solutions;
* Maintain project timeframes, objectives, and communications;
* Collect necessary information required to start projects;
* Verify data and analyze it to suit the direction of a project or requirement;
* Track, forecast, and report on project progress including metrics and challenges;
* Assist with implementing technology solutions using agile development methodologies;
* Help manage UAT and end-user experience testing of ongoing development;
* Liaise with external technology providers to test ongoing development of technology solutions;
* Mitigate program risks and issues and manage change requests;
Person Specification:
The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail. They will have the foresight to anticipate future challenges and address potential risks and issues. This person will be self-motivated, holding themselves accountable, with an ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced dynamic environment. They will have the ability to learn and keep up-to-date with role-related technical developments, mastering any new technologies and processes. The person will be flexible and adaptable, with an ability to engage multiple stakeholders. They will have outstanding communication skills, with an ability to work with a variety of stakeholders (both internal and external).
Requirements:
* Relevant third-level qualification with a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role;
* Solid understanding of project/program management techniques and methodologies;
* Ability to document and troubleshoot issues;
* Experience in project management and technology implementation;
* Proven experience working in an Agile environment;
* Demonstrable experience and knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM is an advantage;
* Working knowledge of the aircraft leasing industry is considered an advantage;
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail;
* Foresight to anticipate and address potential risks and issues;
* Robust project management and coordination skills;
* Self-motivated with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
* Ability to learn and master new technologies and processes;
* Flexible and adaptable, with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders;
