Senior Project Engineer – Advanced Operations at Stryker
Join our team as a senior project engineer to support joint replacement NPI programs. You will develop solutions to technical challenges, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and drive time to market, cost efficiencies and margins through innovative additive technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Integrate cutting‑edge additive manufacturing technologies for joint replacement products, optimizing efficiency and precision.
* Build relationships internally and externally, mentor team members, and foster continuous learning.
* Ensure quality of processes and products, aligning with operational standards and material specifications.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate product development lifecycle.
* Analyze equipment, conduct experimental tests, review results and lead or review process meetings.
* Ensure regulatory compliance while managing project deadlines and product costs.
* Participate in equipment qualifications, PFMEA, control plan, SOP, and PPAP for design transfer and product launches.
Qualifications and Skillsets
* B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with minimum 2 years of experience.
* Excellent interpersonal skills; can express ideas and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
* Innovative mindset; vision for novel approaches to problem‑solving and process improvement.
* Demonstrable analytical and problem‑solving skills, process improvement orientation, ability to handle multiple tasks in fast‑paced environment.
* Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), statistical tools (e.g., Minitab), and validation/verification techniques.
* Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, product/process design, and engineering materials.
* Experience in FDA‑regulated or regulated industry is beneficial.
