Project Support Officer Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a suitably skilled Project Support Officer to join their team.
The duration of this post is 52 weeks initially with possible extensions thereafter.
The role will be based onsite in Dublin 8.
This is a full-time role.
Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid based on an annualised salary of €51,718.
You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Project Support: Coordinate project activities, schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including risk logs, action trackers, and status reports.
Provide administrative support e.g., organize and facilitate project meetings, preparing agendas and recording minutes.
Support budget tracking and procurement processes related to the project Assist the Project Manager in preparing for meetings by carrying out research on topics as required.
Training Planning: Support the co-ordination and scheduling of training sessions, ensuring all logistical aspects are covered.
Track and report on training attendance and completion rates.
Ensure all training-related communications are clear and timely.
Stakeholder Engagement: Support stakeholder mapping and analysis to identify communication needs.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
Assist in organizing workshops, training sessions, and events to promote project awareness and engagement.
Experience & Qualifications: Have not less than three years satisfactory experience in an administrative capacity within the Public Sector / Hospital / Health Care or other environment relevant to the role.
Proven experience in a project support or coordination role.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
Experience in developing and delivering communications plans or materials.
Experience in minute-taking.
Desirable: Previous experience with hospital systems in an acute healthcare environment Familiarity with change management principles.
Third Level Qualification in Project Management or a related field would be valuable Competencies: Excellent Keyboard and MS Office skills Proficiency in using project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or similar).
Desirable: Knowledge of communication tools, such as intranet platforms or design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
