Financial Accountant Role
We are seeking a commercially skilled financial professional to join our finance team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Monthly Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed management accounts for a portfolio of venues/business units, highlighting key trends and variances.
* Team Leadership: Manage a small team of accounting assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
* Accruals and Prepayments: Accurately calculate and record accruals and prepayments, ensuring accurate financial representation.
* Financial Analysis: Review profit and loss statements compared to budget and prior year, including in-depth margin analysis to inform business decisions.
Skill Requirements:
* Achieved ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
* Experience working in events, retail, hospitality, or entertainment sectors.
* Demonstrated financial reporting and forecasting capabilities.
