Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Stock Control Professional to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring efficient inventory management.
The Role
This is a permanent position based at a busy distribution centre in County Westmeath. You will work 37.5 hours per week plus a 30-minute unpaid break, with shifts between 05:00-17:00.
You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for checking inbound deliveries from suppliers for accuracy, auditing picker performance, and investigating any discrepancies. You will also support load adherence checks and other audit tasks, following agreed procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency in all work.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inspecting incoming shipments to verify quantities and contents
2. Reviewing pick rates and identifying areas for improvement
3. Collaborating with colleagues to resolve any stock discrepancies or errors
4. Maintaining accurate records and reports to track stock movements and performance
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
* Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or similar role
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
