We are thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of The Mercantile Hotel in the heart of Dublin City, and we’re on the hunt for passionate bartenders and waiters to join our opening team! What You'll Be Doing:
* Delivering warm, genuine, and memorable service to all our guests, ensuring they have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive.
* Setting up and stocking the bar and restaurant areas ahead of opening.
* Working alongside the Restaurant Manager, and Bar Manager to ensure smooth and efficient daily service.
* Preparing and serving drinks and dishes to the highest standards with confidence and flair.
* Upselling drinks, specials, and promotions to enhance the guest experience and boost revenue.
* Supporting the team during busy periods and maintaining a positive, energetic atmosphere.
* Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in line with hotel policy and legal requirements.
* Being part of the creative process – your ideas and input will help shape our service culture from day one.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a busy bar or restaurant, ideally within a hotel or high-volume venue.
* A genuine passion for hospitality, with a guest-first attitude.
* Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional with strong communication skills.
* A team player who thrives under pressure and brings positive energy to every shift.
* Barista, cocktail, or wine knowledge is a bonus .
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
