At PUNCH Consulting we are looking for a Senior Civil Technician with 5-7 years' experience to work in our dynamic Civil Engineering design team with flexibility to work from our Dublin, Cork or Limerick Office.Job Description:The candidate will be proficient in the preparation of civil infrastructure drawings / details for site development, roads infrastructure, transportation infrastructure, public health infrastructure, etc.As part of the Civil Engineering team, you will be required to deliver project drawings to the required technical standards in a timely manner reporting to the project manager.You will also be responsible for overseeing and checking standards on project drawings by Junior Civil Technicians.The ideal candidate will have experience in producing 2D drawings in Autocad and 3D model designs in Autodesk Civil 3D.You will also be required to carry out site inspections and attend Design Team meetings.Desirable Skills and Attributes:A Higher Certificate (NFQ Level 6) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.Knowledge and experience of AutoCad 2D & AutoDesk Civil 3D is essential.Knowledge and experience of Autotrack and Causeway Flow is beneficial.Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings and designs is essential.Attention to detail.Excellent communication skills.Excellent IT skills.Proven commitment to CPD.A comprehensive remuneration package is on offer for the successful candidate which includes competitive salary in line with experience, company pension and a commitment to ongoing training and development.
