Physiotherapist - Staff Grade (Location: Cork)Job Type Full Time DescriptionStaff Grade Physiotherapist(Permanent, Full Time)We are currently recruiting for a Physiotherapist (Staff Grade) to join our team at Mater Private Cork to work with a growing team of Physiotherapists to further develop the service.The successful candidate will work within the Physiotherapy Department and with the Hospital multidisciplinary team in providing expertise in Orthopaedics (Inpatient), Orthopaedic/MSK outpatient, Respiratory (surgical and medical) and care of the aging patient.Duties And ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate sufficient clinical knowledge and evidence based practice to carry out duties and responsibilities of the post.Work with the Physiotherapy Manager and colleagues to ensure the delivery of a client centred quality Physiotherapy service.Display effective communication and interpersonal skills with other healthcare professionals, patients and families.Demonstrate ability to plan and deliver patient centred care in an effective, resourceful and efficient manner.Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional Development.Be responsible for client assessment, development and implementation of individualized treatment plans that are in line with best practiceWork within own scope of professional competence in line with principles of best practice, professional conduct and clinical governanceOperate within the scope of practice of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists or equivalent governing body.Candidate RequirementsBSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.Have CORU registration and be a member or eligible for membership of the Irish Society of Physiotherapists (ISCP)A minimum of 1 years post graduate experience in Physiotherapy Services: Orthopaedics (Inpatient) is essential.
