Installation Engineer Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join our team in a full-time position. The role involves installing fibre connections into customers' premises while maintaining an outstanding level of customer service and updating relevant systems in a timely manner throughout the day.
Job Purpose
The Installation Engineer will be responsible for carrying out customer installations, ensuring the highest standard of customer service is maintained at all times. This includes managing tools issued and vehicles assigned, completing assigned tasks on time, and maintaining Health and Safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out customer installations, ensuring excellent customer service standards are met.
* Manage issued tools and vehicles as per company policy.
* Complete tasks on time and manage daily jobs effectively.
* Maintain Health and Safety compliance at all times.
* Work individually and as part of a team to achieve targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
* A full UK driving Licence held for minimum 12 months.
* SA001, SA002, S7, S8 or equivalent qualifications desirable.
* IPAF 1b qualification desirable.
* NRSWA unit 2 (minimum) desirable.
* SMART AWARDS preferable.
* Experience in telecommunications or transferable skills essential.
Benefits
This is a full-time position working Monday to Saturday, 45hrs a week, 7.30am-5.30pm with one Saturday per month paid as overtime.
Working Arrangements
This role involves working independently and as part of a team to achieve targets and KPIs. A full UK driving Licence is essential for this role, and experience in telecommunications or transferable skills are essential for success in this position.
