An established organisation operating in a high-growth sector is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the Group Finance function.
This is a broad, senior role requiring strong technical accounting expertise, commercial judgement, and the ability to operate across reporting, tax, planning and financial control.
The Role: Lead and develop the finance team and act as a key contact for senior stakeholders, Boards and Committees Oversee tax compliance and planning, working with external advisors and internal teams Manage internal and external reporting, including Board packs, consolidations and audits Maintain strong financial controls, accounting policies and governance frameworks Support budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and strategic analysis Partner with commercial and project teams on business planning and transactions Drive process improvements across finance systems and workflows Experience & Qualifications Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with 5+ years PQEStrong technical accounting and reporting background Experience leading teams and working with senior stakeholders and Boards Proven tax compliance and/or planning experience in a complex environment Commercial mindset with experience in forecasting, modelling and analysis Background in multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction environments Experience or interest in renewable energy or infrastructure Audit or technical accounting experience Strong financial systems and data reporting capability For more information on the role, contact Ray Brennan directly on ray@leesidetalent.ie or on 0830362091.
