About the role
To support and sustain our real estate department we are seeking a solicitor to join our Real Estate team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team where you will work with clients and colleagues of the highest calibre on a diverse range of interesting, complex and high-profile real estate work.
Key Responsibilities
Acting in the sale and purchase of commercial properties, including receiver sales.
Assisting clients on development and financing of property assets.
Acting for landlords and tenants in commercial leasing and estate management issues.
Assisting members of the finance team on commercial property aspects of lending transactions.
Working closely with the funds and financial services teams on the structuring of commercial property investments.
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor from top tier firm with a minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial leasing; and the acquisition and disposal of commercial properties, including investigation of title, contract drafting, preparation of closing documents and registration of title.
Experience in commercial property due diligence and providing conveyancing support to property finance teams.
Excellent technical and drafting skills, with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload and meet deadlines on a consistent and timely basis.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with our clients and our real-estate and finance teams.
Ability to make sound and realistic decisions.
A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one's own initiative.
An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desire to work hard and aspire to the highest standards of practice.
