Job Description:
* Develop and implement strategies to attract international conferences and events to Ireland.
* Enhance the economic, social, and environmental benefits of international business events in line with Fáilte Ireland's strategic goals.
* Manage operational plans aligned with the Business Events Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead projects addressing challenges and opportunities within tourism and business events.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop short- and long-term plans with measurable KPIs.
* Build strong relationships with industry partners, government agencies, and academic institutions.
Requirements:
* A minimum of three years' experience in business development, business events, or tourism roles, including stakeholder management and project management.
* Excellent communication skills, enabling strong relationships with stakeholders and collaboration with diverse groups.
