Job TitleManager Logistics, Customs and Technical Services – Cruiserath BiologicsResponsibilitiesManage Inward Processing (IP) and Customs Warehouse authorisation with Irish Revenue.Generate and submit monthly Customs Warehouse/IP returns to the Revenue Commissioners.Monitor import customs declarations and review import documentation.Collect and report Intrastat data for inbound shipments, in partnership with the Global Customs & Trade Compliance Team.Validate product qualification for preferential origin.Coordinate with the EMEA C&T Compliance team on changes to physical/financial flows, IOR/EOR queries, and customs trade requirements.Collaborate with logistics, supply‑chain, operations and finance to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.Communicate with customs authorities, logistics providers and internal stakeholders.Maintain high attention to detail to minimise customs and trade operation errors.Execute tasks related to WCL processes and BDS storage/shipment activities at Cruiserath Biologics, ensuring continued regulatory conformance.Serve as the Logistics SME for technical issue troubleshooting/resolution during and after start‑up, including commercial manufacture and technology transfer.Lead SAP projects for Logistics, designing and updating procedures and ensuring stakeholder alignment.Support investigations, CAPAs and change controls linked to material management activities.Provide project management support for new product implementations, productivity improvements, harmonisation activities and general site initiatives.Act as the interim LCC Manager when the Senior Manager is absent, coordinating and overseeing work execution.Lead key Logistics meetings and support QA audit activities.Collaborate with the CQV team to complete validation activities for Logistics.Deliver expertise and training to Specialists on day‑to‑day operations.Identify, execute and drive continuous improvement initiatives across Warehouse, Cryogenics, Logistics and JIT areas.Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and effectively use process automation systems such as Syncade, SAP, MES, etc.Act as the point of contact for internal customer inquiries and inform WCL Senior Manager of any concerns.SafetyOperate safely and responsibly, promoting a safety culture and a safe working environment for all employees.Prioritise safety by highlighting concerns and escalating near misses to prevent incidents.Report all safety concerns and required actions to the LCC Manager.Use appropriate safety and GMP clothing and protective equipment as per training and SOPs.Operate production equipment safely and maintain awareness of emergency procedures.Ensure completion of all safety‑related training.TeamworkCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and validate campus initiatives.Participate in regular team, departmental, and company initiatives to improve site safety, quality, compliance and performance.Show flexibility and willingness to move cross‑functionally as business needs require.Provide assistance and support to maintenance, engineering, quality or other colleagues when requested.Liaise with other groups to ensure effective task planning and alignment with the site plan.DevelopmentMaintain a high level of expertise and working knowledge of customs and revenue processes.Manage personal training plan and complete required training curricula.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence through ownership of process, equipment and safety improvements.Share knowledge and lessons learned with others to foster continuous development.HousekeepingMaintain the highest standards of housekeeping during all tasks.Participate in pre‑operational checks.QualificationsLeaving Certificate (minimum requirement).Third‑level qualification in logistics and/or manufacturing (preferred).ExperienceMinimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or supply‑chain role with experience in production, GMP warehousing and logistics.Minimum 5 years’ experience in a GMP environment.Experience in biologics manufacturing (preferred).Working knowledge of computerized production and inventory control systems (SAP) and documentation practices.Knowledge of imports, inward processing and customs warehousing advantageous.BenefitsCompetitive salary and annual bonus.Pension contribution.Family medical allowance.27 days of annual leave.Life assurance.On‑site gym.Equal Opportunity & AccessibilityBMS is dedicated to ensuring people with disabilities can excel through a transparent recruitment process, reasonable workplace accommodations/adjustments and ongoing support in their roles.
