Our client is a leading international Biotechnology company with a state of the art aseptic manufacturing facility in Dun Laoighaire, South Dublin.
The plant is one of the most dynamic in Ireland and is currently undergoing rapid expansion and capital investment.
This is an excellent opportunity to get experience into Ireland's leading aseptic manufacturing plant.
In this vital role you will provide administrative support for the Business liaising with the signature process for Clinical Trial Contracts; support the Country Clinical Trial Directors and the Administrative Co-ordinator with a variety of activities.
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and staff; maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
Screen and respond to phone calls and emails; address complaints and inquiries.
Oversee front desk operations including mail, packages, and deliveries.
Manage distribution lists, coordinate mailings and couriers.
Handle administrative relationships with vendors.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding team members.
Provide logistical support for onsite meetings, including catering and equipment.
Go to person for ad-hoc queries from the team
Partner with key internal staff to ensure smooth functioning of office (Office Admin Lead, IS & Facilities)
Support the Clinical Program Operations team to ensure timely coordination of department members' administrative needs:
Support the Clinical Program Operations (CPO) team in tracking and executing clinical trial agreements
Coordinate local team meetings; arrange travel, meeting arrangements, visitor accommodations
Prepare agendas, take and complete committee meeting minutes; coordinate distribution and follows up on action items
Maintain distribution list, coordinate mailings and courier/deliveries of these documents
Manage and support CPO department operations as needed
Organise travel and manage expense submissions for CPO team
Support wider Amgen Ireland team on an ad hoc/project basis
Requirements
Previous experience in administrative support role
Experience using MS Office and virtual tele-conference tools
Fluency in English
Preferred Requirements
Experience in similar or related disciplinary and/or international environment
Basic knowledge of the function/business areas supported such as safety, sales, compliance, customer service, etc.
Familiarity with terminology of area supported such as Marketing, Medical, Clinical Research, Logistics etc.
Package
Contract role - Hourly rate €25 - €30 per hour
Minimum 12 month contract
The successful candidate will be required to work 20 hours split across 4hours/day Monday– Friday.
