This is a highly varied role in which you will be responsible for all reporting entities and play a key part in supporting future acquisitions, development projects and growth strategies.
This is a newly created position ideally suited to an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller eager to undertake a pivotal role within an ambitious and values driven business.
The Role
Full responsibility for the finance function and management of the finance team to meet tight monthly deadlines.
Finalise monthly management accounts including cost and variance analysis.
Preparation of monthly reporting pack and board report.
Prepare/update annual budgets and rolling forecast models
Preparation of cashflow forecasts and ongoing cashflow management
Assist MD with strategic business plans
Preparation/review of reports to meet customer reporting requirements.
Responsibility for annual statutory accounts and managing the relationship with the Auditors
Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements and tax deadlines.
Implement controls and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Monitoring spending, recommending ways to reduce cost and increase profitability.
The Person
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Previous experience in a senior management position
Strong financial and commercial acumen
Confident communicator with strong written communication skills
Strong IT skills including accounting ledger systems & excel
Strong organisational skills including planning, setting priorities and meeting deadlines
You will be ambitious and hold no fear of working in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment
