Senior Library Assistant - Castletownbere
Cork County Council invites applications from suitably qualified persons, who wish to be considered for inclusion on a panel from which vacancies for Permanent Part time Senior Library Assistant (Grade 4) Branch Library Castletownbere may be filled.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, creative, and flexible, with drive and commitment to delivering quality customer services to the public. Senior Library Assistants are a vital link in the team which promotes the library as a focal point for cultural activities, for community development, for learning and as a digital hub.
1. Character
Each candidate must be of good character.
2. Health
Each candidate must be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
3. Education, Training, Experience etc.
Each candidate must, on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms:
* have a good general level of education,
* have at least two years satisfactory experience in a post of Library Assistant or in an analogous post.
