Senior Research and Development Engineer
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research and Development Engineer to spearhead the development of innovative microfluidic products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in biomedical engineering or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering successful R&D projects.
* Design and development of next-generation microfluidic products, including flow cytometry and microfluidic systems.
* Creation of mechanical components for microfluidic biochips.
* Collaboration on research and development projects, contributing to project reports, documentation, and proposals.
* Supporting the quality control and testing of existing microfluidic products and those in development.
* Liaising with suppliers to facilitate manufacturing processes, including ordering components and preparing specifications.
* Assisting the engineering team in planning and executing verification procedures and protocols to determine product specifications.
The successful candidate will have:
1. A Master's degree in biomedical engineering or a related field.
2. At least 4 years of experience in designing microfluidics instrumentation or biochip products.
3. Familiarity with manufacturing technologies: injection moulding, vacuum casting, rapid prototyping, and ultrasonic welding.
4. Solid working knowledge of design software: AutoCAD, Solidworks, and COMSOL.
5. A track record of developing products from concept to production.
6. Proficiency in data analysis using Python or Neural Networks.
