Overview
Caseworker position at Daly Lynch Crowe & Morris Solicitors (DLCM) in Dublin. The Caseworker will support a solicitor who works in the international protection/immigration law and judicial review division. DLCM has extensive experience in refugee and immigration law and is committed to the advancement of human rights in Ireland through rights-based litigation.
The firm attracts a large volume of clients, and the Caseworker will provide reliable, responsible and efficient support for the solicitor in the delivery of services to clients in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide clerical and administrative support to the Solicitor, including liaising with clients and Counsel by phone and email.
* Scan, save and manage documentation; handle post and attend Court; prepare documentation for Court.
Qualifications and Experience
* Office experience is highly desirable; familiarity with filing systems / Adobe / Outlook is a plus.
* A law degree and/or a qualification in human rights law is advantageous but not essential if interest can be demonstrated.
* Knowledge/experience of refugee/immigration law is advantageous but not essential if interest can be demonstrated.
* Ideally 5 days a week, but part-time will be considered for the right candidate.
* Ideally available to start as soon as possible.

* Excellent organisational skills, reliability, strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload; work autonomously.
* Ability to follow instructions from the solicitor closely and take direction with enthusiasm to learn.
* Hardworking with an interest in human rights law; capacity to deliver work to a high standard.
* Accurate filing, handling of documentary evidence and ability to work efficiently under time pressure.
* Proficient computer/typing/admin skills (Adobe, Outlook, Word, etc.).
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others.
