Prototype Technician – Engineering Services
Job purpose: Assemble prototype medical device products and components using automated, semi‑automated and manual methods. Provide input on process selection and prototyping capability to design and manufacturing engineers.
Responsibilities:
Support R&D and AO during new product introductions, contributing to product and process design reviews, fixture/tooling design, and design for manufacturing.
Design complex prototypes and fixtures using CAD/CAM and build related apparatus.
Interpret engineering schematics and specifications; use precision measuring equipment to verify prototypes meet design specifications and quality standards.
Specify, evaluate and order new equipment, tooling, materials and supplies.
Maintain documentation procedures and process controls for new product introductions.
Train and assist colleagues in product development and design topics.
Coordinate with external toolrooms and suppliers to outsource work and resolve technical challenges.
Ensure laboratory housekeeping and maintain experimental prototype equipment, fixtures and fittings.
Provide guidance on prototype manufacturing methods.
Qualifications:
Toolmaking or related craft qualification or engineering discipline with precision machining experience.
Experience machining a wide variety of metals and plastics.
Proficiency in programming and operating CNC and manual machine tools, hand tools, power tools and inspection equipment.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to resolve complex machining issues independently.
Quick mastery of new equipment, tools, software and programming languages.
Ability to read complex engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail; ability to identify and correct minute inconsistencies.
Follow detailed instructions and inspection procedures; complete documentation accurately.
Manage multiple project requests simultaneously.
Advanced math and measuring skills.
Demonstrated mechanical/technical aptitude and strong communication skills.
Lab Desktop Support Engineer
Job purpose: Manage day‑to‑day issues for validated analytical laboratory systems and support end‑users.
Responsibilities:
Maintain incident queue and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Provide support and administration for local laboratory applications (user reviews, audit trail reviews).
Offer first‑line support to laboratories, troubleshooting system errors and liaising with vendors.
Act as on‑site point of contact for laboratory system helpdesk, coordinating with global teams.
Schedule and deliver end‑user training for laboratory system content deployment.
Ensure quality control function integrity and perform administrative tasks.
Handle Windows 7, Windows Server 2003/2008 environments.
Communicate effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently or in a team.
Support additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Technician – Engineering (23‑Month Contract)
Job purpose: Ensure manufacturing processes run consistently and meet performance targets.
Responsibilities:
Interface with cross‑functional team members and third‑party vendors.
Provide technical process support for projects or functions.
Monitor and manage production yield performance.
Communicate with operators and technicians regarding line issues.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and mechanical problems on the production floor.
Qualify and maintain processing equipment and fixtures.
Engineer preventive maintenance and calibration schedules.
Assist in technical improvements and process equipment spare parts management.
Execute equipment qualification and project work.
Design, fabricate and document process equipment changes.
Adhere to environmental health & safety requirements.
Maintain quality compliance with corporate systems.
Provide out‑of‑hours support as required.
Qualifications:
Certificate/Diploma in engineering or related discipline; industrial trade qualification acceptable.
Experience in modern manufacturing; knowledge of low/mid‑voltage electrical systems, pneumatics, PLCs, instrumentation, hydraulics, calibration, AutoCAD, injection moulding.
Experience in the medical device industry a plus.
Business understanding of operations is essential.
Advanced PC skills required; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self‑starter with proven efficient work methods and problem‑solving skills.
Good customer service orientation.
Green or Black Belt Six Sigma qualifications an advantage.
Technician – Laboratory Equipment (23‑Month Contract)
Job purpose: Coordinate laboratory equipment activity and support new product introduction in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate laboratory equipment activity to satisfy demands.
Commission equipment, plan and execute IQ, OQ and PQ activities.
Develop and maintain SOPs, maintenance and safety procedures.
Perform laboratory product development testing and provide data for FDA submissions.
Conduct capability studies, technical report writing, and quality control support.
Support 3D‑printing prototyping, CAD file conversion, printer operation and post‑processing.
Collaborate with the Quality Department to ensure accurate validation documentation.
Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP generation.
Provide training for manufacturing team members.
Ensure adherence to GMP and safety procedures.

Qualifications:
Diploma or trade in a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a technician in a technical role.
Knowledge of metallographic preparation, ASTM and ISO specifications.
Strong computer literacy and validation activity experience in a regulated industry.
Mechanical/technical aptitude and strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
Proven problem‑solving skills and hands‑on approach.
Experience in a GMP‑based machine‑floor environment.

Senior Engineer – Migration Services
Job purpose: Design and build solutions to address scalability, performance and usability challenges for data migration services.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams on feature development.
Stay up to date on cloud computing advancements and apply them to product.
Own the planning and delivery of major features from ideation through design and implementation.
Mentor team members and contribute to their growth.
Qualifications:
5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
Experience writing large‑scale distributed systems (Java, C#, Go).
Knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
