, is seeking a
Senior Design Engineer
to join their innovative and collaborative engineering team. Based in
North Dublin,
this is a fantastic opportunity for a
structural engineer
with reinforced concrete and façade design experience to take ownership of complex, high-profile projects across commercial, healthcare, residential and leisure sectors.
Key Responsibilities of Design Engineer:
* Lead and coordinate structural design deliverables on projects.
* Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed design solutions for precast façade systems.
* Liaising and co-ordinating with external design team members.
* Liaising with clients and their representatives (e.g. architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
* Lead design team meetings as required.
* Drive process improvement and contribute to continuous innovation.
* Responsible for coaching and managing the career development of junior team members, targeted to improve both their behavioural and functional competencies.
* Monitor team progress with regular reviews and performance feedback.
Key Requirements:
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
* Chartered
Structural Engineer with
10+ years' post-graduate experience
, ideally in façades or precast design.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing design teams.
* Strong working knowledge of Eurocodes, building regulations, and façade detailing.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in BIM systems, MS Office, and project management tools; Tekla Structural Designer experience an advantage.
* Solid understanding of construction practices and structural design principles.
* Occasional travel to UK/Ireland project sites may be required.
