Job Role:
This is a sales account administrator role for the Ireland Retail division of Westcoast Ireland, focusing on the sale of retail products.
Working in a fast-paced environment as part of a focused and experienced sales team with a retail customer base that are price sensitive. This is a target driven role, both individual & team.
This is an office-based role however hybrid working combining home/office activities may be facilitated on agreement with the manager and where such agreement is made it is subject to the continuing achievement of business objectives
Key Activities
* Manage the existing customer base to maximise opportunities within these accounts
* Liaising with product managers to fulfil customers' requests
* Monthly price updates on each account and or when required
* Monitoring email inboxes and phone calls
* Extensive customer and partner interaction in a fast-paced environment is to be expected.
* Sharing and uploading any price amendments with customers
* Processing orders manually and via EDI
* Updating customer stock feeds – adding and removing products as needed
* Managing backorders in a timely manner
* Daily and weekly reporting
* Proactively seek new sales opportunities across the retail channel, identifying new opportunities and upselling/cross selling
* Drive marketing activity and promotion of retail products, communication of brand promotions (SOA's), ensuring customers adhere to brand guidelines in regard to sale of products both in store and online and ensuring customers follow brand T&C's during promotional activities
* Track all sales promotions and reconcile for pass through to claims team/retailer
* Significantly contributes to the achievement of positive customer experiences
* To understand customer requirements and to recognise changing demands
* To develop strong customer relationships
* Appreciation of selling techniques and revenue and margin targets
* To mutually support colleagues in the achievement of goals
To be flexible to undertake such other duties that may be reasonably assigned by the retail sales

* Fluent English –written and spoken is essential
* Strong I.T. skills
* Full clean manual drivers licence
