The role involves ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of goods to customers using a 7.5-tonne vehicle, while providing excellent customer service and adhering to all road safety and company compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle in compliance with all road traffic laws and regulations Carry out daily vehicle checks and report and defects Load, secure, transport, and unload goods in a safe and professional manner Deliver products to customers according to planned routes and schedules Ensure all paperwork (delivery notes, PODs) is completed accurately Provide a high standard of customer service, always representing the company positively Assist in warehouse duties as required Requirements: Valid C1 License (7.5T) Previous experience in multi-drop or long-distance delivery driving preferred Good physical fitness ability to lift and move heavy items Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication and customer service skills Forklift license (desirable, but not essential) Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am 5.00pm Benefits: Bike to work scheme On-site parking Company pension
