Apata is one of Ireland's fastest-growing fintech companies and a global leader in 3DS authentication services. It was founded and is led by serial entrepreneurs Niall Hogan and Shekinah Adewumi, whose previous company, Touchtech Payments, was acquired by Stripe in 2019.
Based in Dublin 2, the 30-strong Apata team design, build, and sell modern 3DS products to traditional banks, digital banks, issuer processors, and fintech issuers globally.
Today, the Apata platform is used by Nubank, Wise, Galileo, Thredd and over 200 other issuers worldwide, authenticating hundreds of millions of ecommerce transactions every year.
The role:
We are looking for a proactive, driven and self-motivated Analyst to enhance
Apata's presence in the market, focusing on our payment authentication
solutions for an expanding client base:
* Complete research and analysis, interpret the results, develop an opinion, and translate conclusions into internal and external content.
* Competitive landscape analysis including pricing.
* Absorb new topics and concepts quickly to effectively contribute to efforts across the organisation.
* Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape and emerging tech in the payments space, and disseminate that information to other parts of the organisation.
* Network and build connections to drive new business opportunities (e.g. inclusion in RFPs).
* Be able to identify and foster strong relationships with key players in the payments industry.
* Represent Apata's viewpoint in the payments community.
* Creation of relevant content to support GTM efforts (e.g. to keep pipeline leads warm; general brand awareness) and ongoing customer service (e.g. card scheme and regulatory changes, industry trends).
* Channel feedback to the product team from clients, potential clients and industry sources.
* Subject matter expertise and reference point for clients.
* Create a knowledge hub.
