GPC Finance is working on a new opportunity within a Medium size firm in Dublin. My client requires an experienced Tax Technician to join their Tax Team. This role is suitable for someone who is self-motivated, with excellent organisational and technical skills who can execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
* Processing of payroll returns.
* Processing of VAT returns.
* General tax administration tasks.
* Delivering work to strict deadlines and dealing with day-to-day queries and requests.
* Working closely with clients to ensure a high service level.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Tax and/or Accounting Technician Qualification.
* IPASS Qualification (desirable).
* 1-3 years’ experience working in a busy tax or accounting environment.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Experience of Tax, Accounting, Payroll software.
* Excellent attention to detail and demonstrable numerical/analytical skills.
* Strong technical and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Discretion in dealing with confidential information.
