Job description
My client, an independent not-for-profit hospital is seeking an experienced CNM 2 to provide cover for 6 months, for their in-patient mental health service based in South Dublin.
The client provides a spectrum of neuropsychiatric services to adults with a range of serious and enduring mental health needs such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's Diseases, as well as individuals with early onset dementias, schizophrenia, and mood disorders.
Key Duties:
1. Lead and develop nursing services in line with national standards and best practice.
2. Make sure nursing care is safe, high quality, and centred on residents' needs.
3. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Risk Management, and regulatory standards.
4. Lead and support change and improvement within the nursing service.
5. Collaborate closely with residents, families, carers, and staff on care planning and goals.
6. Actively participate in and support multidisciplinary team (MDT) working.
Essential Criteria:
7. Registered Psychiatric Nurse with NMBI.
8. 2 years' experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager 1.
9. Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting, including acute mental health care.
