Our client is based in the Leisure and Hospitality sector, north of County Dublin. They seek an IT Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing or leading a team, coupled with the ability to develop strategic IT roadmaps for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and delegate IT support for the business and Team
* Implement and review policies and procedures related to Cybersecurity, Data Protection, and other requirements
* Develop, train, lead, and manage a small IT team
* Support other departments on projects to ensure necessary IT requirements are implemented
* Maintain relationships with vendors and third-party IT suppliers
Required Skills:
* Third-level qualification in a related discipline
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT role supporting technical needs
* Strong people management skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and root causes
* Ability to backup, test, and verify data integrity
* CompTIA certification (or similar) is beneficial
* Proficiency in Microsoft products, including NAV
* Experience with backups, firewalls, VMWare, and Active Directory
* EPOS or retail industry experience is advantageous
* Project management experience
