Job Description
The Residential Tenancies Board are seeking to hire a legal professional with a minimum of 5 years PQE on a 9 month temporary contract.
* Review legislative changes and advise on compliance requirements
* Ensure RTB policies and processes are fully aligned with the updated legal framework
* Manage the Legal Affairs Unit, providing high quality legal advice and supporting the enforcement activity under Sec 144 of the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA)
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide timely legal advice to the Board, Director, and various business units
* Develop relationships with internal customers and provide training and guidance to RTB staff
* Identify, manage and mitigate legal risk across the RTB
