Job Description:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our construction projects. Your expertise in managing contractual and financial aspects will ensure delivery within budget, timeframe, and quality standards.
1. Develop cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies to inform project decisions.
2. Conduct thorough cost analysis, monitor expenditures, and produce detailed financial reports to stakeholders.
3. Oversee tendering processes, including bid evaluation and procurement strategies to secure optimal outcomes.
4. Administer contracts, variations, change control, and dispute resolution to mitigate risks and ensure project stability.
5. Prepare and submit valuations, payment applications, and certificates to facilitate smooth project progression.
In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of Data Centre, Logistics, and Manufacturing Projects in West Dublin with regular travel to projects in Europe. You will report directly into the Commercial Director and have the chance to mentor Junior Quantity Surveyors.
To excel in this position, you will need to possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a relevant qualification, along with 7 years+ experience in a Quantity Surveying role. Professional accreditation (RICS or CIOB) is desirable, and experience working with a Tier 1 Main or M&E Contractor is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and COINS is also required.
