Olimotion are currently looking to recruit a qualified CNC Operator in the Leitrim area to join a leading provider of specialized equipment in the hydraulic industry.

In line with our growth strategy, we are currently recruiting for the role of CNC Machinist.
As a CNC Machinist at Olimotion, your role will be critical in the manufacture and building of new products and improving existing ones.
The Job
* Program, set, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.
* Understand specifications of the task at hand and adjust machine settings accordingly.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD files to plan machining operations.
* Program and set up CNC Milling Machines to machine parts complete from design drawings
* Set up CNC Mills & Lathes in the most effective and efficient way.
* Requirement to read and interpret drawings and knowledgeable in geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
* Work on large scale components including hydraulic rods, tubes, and custom assemblies.
* Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
* Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments.
* A good level of understanding the responsibilities assigned.
* Reaching daily production targets
* Maintain high standards of work rate and quality.
* Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedure.
MUST have Fluent English
Experience
* 5+ years experience in a similar role
* Programming experience using G – codes
* Setting of multi-axis machines, lathes and mills
* Experience in operation/setting Hass, Hurco, Heidenhain
