About the Role
* Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high-quality dishes are prepared and presented.
* Involved in menu development, stock management, and leading the team during busy service periods.
* Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.
* Oversee stock control, ordering, and waste management.
* Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a quality-driven kitchen.
* Strong cooking skills with a passion for gastro pub dining and modern Irish cuisine.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
* Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
