Senior Data Engineer6 Month ContractDublin - 3 days onsite per weekWe are working with a client in Dublin that is looking for an experienced Data Engineer that will help their organisation design and implement data solutions using the Microsoft Azure and Databricks platform.Responsibilities Include:Design, develop, and optimise end-to-end data pipelines using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory & Azure DatabricksBuild robust ETL / ELT processes supporting batch and real-time workloads.Implement monitoring, testing, and performance-tuning to ensure data quality, reliability, and efficiency.Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-impact solutions.Support CI/CD tooling and DevOps processes for continuous improvement and automation.Experience Required:5+ years experience in a Data Engineering roleExtensive experience working on the Azure Cloud Platform, using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database & Azure StorageExperience implementing the Databricks platformStrong knowledge of data engineering best practices and data governance frameworksStrong experience of ETL processes, Data Modelling and Data Warehousing conceptsExperienced in Python programming & PySparkExperience working in an agile environmentCertified in Azure Data Engineering/ Databricks is highly advantageous.Please note that this is a 6 month daily rate contract with no visa sponsorship provided.For more info, please apply or email
