Job Title: Private Equity Fund Accountant Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Private Equity Fund Accountant to join our growing team. As a Private Equity Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for reviewing the work of a team and ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing an expanding Private Equity team within our Limerick operation
* Deliver high quality service to clients by accurate, timely completion of all assigned tasks and requests for information
* Organise workload and Team members in an efficient and effective manner
* Evaluate Net Asset Values (NAVs) and Valuations to ensure accuracy and timeliness
* Meet client reporting requirements and continually improve the preparation of client reports
* Create and maintain a respectful and productive work environment
* Develop and deliver training/coaching effectively
* Identify risk within your team and assist others in understanding their responsibility in addressing it
* Engage with clients and external auditors on audit queries
* Maintain agreed client service levels and regulatory filing deadlines
* Address partner issues and provide regular feedback to staff
Requirements:
* Recognised Professional Accounting Qualification with extensive post qualification experience
* Detailed knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP/US GAAP and IFRS
* Working knowledge of the Irish regulatory/tax regime as it relates to Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting
* Able to develop a team and demonstrate leadership skills
* Good attention to detail and prioritisation/multi-tasking skills
* Strong problem-solving skills and excellent PC skills especially MS Excel
