Overview
We are currently seeking a General Operative to join our team at Breedon Cement, Kinnegad, Co Westmeath.
As a General Operative you will be responsible for the ensuring compliance with all quality standards for the product being manufactured.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct tests on raw materials, in-process materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Take and prepare samples for laboratory tests.
* Operate laboratory equipment, including but not limited to, XRF, XRD, balances, mills and presses.
* Record and analyse data and communicate results to plant control room in a clear and concise manner.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts.
* Always demonstrate a flexible approach to providing cover for laboratory related functions.
* Ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Regulations, and activities are carried out in the safest way possible.
