**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Pharmacist to lead our pharmacy team in Galway.

The Supervising Pharmacist will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the dispensary operations, ensuring compliance with all legal responsibilities related to pharmacy practice.
* Exercise professional judgment and expertise in all aspects of law, ethics, and codes of practice as laid down by the Irish Pharmaceutical Society.
* Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service to all customers, adhering to pharmacy guidelines and best practices.
* Evaluate and ensure the safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers.
* Maintain effective relationships with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses.
* Proactively manage and follow up on claims rejected by payment boards.
* Develop and maintain relationships with local doctors and other healthcare professionals to grow business opportunities.
* Pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach to nursing homes and other relevant institutions.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a registered pharmacist.
* Hold a PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification and be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
* Ability to manage high-volume dispensing operations.
