Key Responsibilities:
* Direct a team of Social Care Professionals in delivering care to vulnerable young people within a residential service, ensuring exceptional standards of care and support.
* Collaborate closely with the management team to devise and implement strategies aimed at improving care quality.
* Maintain strict adherence to all relevant regulations and policies, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
* Foster strong, professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, leveraging effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Oversee staff performance, encompassing recruitment, training, and disciplinary procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* A recognized Level 8 Social Care qualification or equivalent.
* At least five years' experience working in residential childcare or managing services for vulnerable children and young people.
* Superior communication, report writing, and IT skills, ensuring seamless coordination and documentation.
* A valid, full clean driver's license held for more than one year, enabling efficient transportation and mobility.
