Social network you want to login/join with:Technical Product Innovation Manager, DungarvanClient: HaleonLocation:Job Category: OtherEU work permit required: YesJob Reference:909bed502feaJob Views:6Posted:19.06.2025Expiry Date:03.08.2025Job Description:The core activity in terms of new business introduction involves engaging with Category to identify new business opportunities, supporting a Make v Buy proposal for the selected products, completing a detailed cost benefit analysis via a site impact assessment (SIA), and coordinating the implementation of the launch if successful.Key Responsibilities:Lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) program for the site, ensuring all processes align with DFM & PUCC principles and that a Site Impact Assessment (SIA) is completed for all NPIs with input from all key SMEs and stakeholders.Engage with stakeholders above and below the site to define project scope, estimate costs, time, and resources for implementation.Prioritize and select projects, capturing resource requirements, milestones, and savings via SLT-endorsed SIA. Manage internal and external stakeholders including Supply Chain, Manufacturing Strategy, and Portfolio Optimization. Manage cross-functional teams to execute projects and realize benefits.Ensure Technical Risk Assessments (TRA) are conducted before NPIs transfer to the site and that a Product Control Strategy is in place before product transfer.Support Value Engineering and Procurement initiatives during each NPI.Identify training needs for Technical NPI teams, develop training plans, and ensure development plans for key team members.Contribute to process prioritization to ensure visibility of NPI timelines and capacity planning.Lead monthly Technical Review meetings and weekly Technical NPI Team Meetings.Ensure Halal requirements are met according to the General Guidelines of the Halal Assurance System for applicable products/markets.Perform duties in compliance with SOPs, Haleon EHS standards, legal requirements, and Quality Management System standards. Promote a safe, harassment-free workplace and act ethically and legally at all times.Essential Qualifications & Skills:Third-level qualification in engineering or science discipline.Experience with Process Validation for new product introduction and process optimization.Knowledge of HR systems and people management.Care to join us?
