Job Description
Location: This position requires the candidate to conduct on-site visits to clients' homes and business establishments across Co.
Cork
Salary: €46,644 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and mix a range of raw materials for plastering applications
Apply plaster to internal and external surfaces including walls and ceilings
Perform solid plastering, skimming, and application of wet finishes
Install internal plasterboards (dry lining/wallboards), including erecting partitions
Apply protective external finishes such as pebble-dash or sand
Use moulds and casts to create decorative and functional plaster features
Accurately assess and calculate material quantities for each project
Carry out repairs, maintenance, and renovation work when required
Ensure all work meets company quality standards and project deadlines
Adhere to all health and safety regulations on site
Requirements
Experience as a plasterer, or relevant qualification in plastering/construction is desirable
Strong knowledge of plastering tools, materials and techniques
High-quality finishing skills with great attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong time-management skills and reliability in meeting deadlines
Understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites
