Maximizing Production Efficiency is a key role that ensures the effective delivery of high-quality products through the design and optimization of manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing standard operating procedures, managing production teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and optimize manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, quality, and scalability.
* Develop and maintain SOPs for consistent and safe production.
* Manage and mentor production teams while promoting accountability and ongoing development.
* Establish and oversee production schedules and staffing plans to meet delivery and quality targets.
* Lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce waste and improve workflow.
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure smooth production and delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
* Level 7 Degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Manufacturing or related Engineering field.
* 5+ years in a manufacturing management role, ideally within electro-mechanical or custom-built industrial equipment environments.
* Solid practical experience applying lean principles and methodology.
* Background in metal fabrication is advantageous.
* Proven ability to lead, coach and build effective production teams.
* Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
* Systems Proficiency: Experienced with production planning and resource management tools.
