Role OverviewThe Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives. Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, this role focuses on task coordination, progress tracking, documentation, and communication. It is well suited for professionals who are building project management experience and seeking increased responsibility.Key Responsibilities• Support project planning activities, including schedules, timelines, and resource coordination.• Assist in tracking project progress, milestones, and deliverables.• Coordinate tasks and follow up with team members to ensure timely completion.• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and status updates.• Support risk identification, issue tracking, and resolution activities.• Assist in organizing project meetings, agendas, and action items.• Communicate project updates to stakeholders and internal teams.• Support budget tracking, cost monitoring, and basic financial reporting.• Ensure project activities follow established processes and standards.• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices.Qualifications and Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.• Experience in project coordination, administrative support, or operations roles is preferred.• Basic understanding of project management methodologies and tools.• Strong organizational and time management skills.• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.• Strong communication and coordination abilities.• Proficiency in standard office and project tracking tools.• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.• Proactive, reliable, and solution-focused work approach.SummaryThe Assistant Project Manager plays an important role in supporting successful project delivery by ensuring coordination, communication, and organization across project activities.
