Catering Assistant Position in Meath, Ireland
Broadline Recruiters is looking for Hospital Catering Staff to start immediately. To be a suitable candidate, you must have 3 years of relevant experience and at least 5 years of work experience.
We have ongoing work in hospitals and nursing homes throughout Meath. You will join a friendly and motivated Catering Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in some of the largest Healthcare settings and Nursing Homes.
Requirements:
* At least three years' experience working in a Hospital/Nursing Home catering setting or from a high-volume catering commercial background.
* Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to adapt to new Healthcare Catering environments.
* Two working references with a minimum of two years each provided.
* Valid work permits to work full-time in Ireland with no restrictions.
* Flexibility with working hours.
Responsibilities:
* Setting up catering units/wards for daily service.
* Working from the pantry serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and teas.
* Day-to-day cleaning of catering units and kitchens.
* Taking patients' orders and uploading them into the system.
* Serving food at ward level.
* Probing food and recording temperatures.
* Cleaning the pantry and setting up for the next day.
* FOLLOWING ALL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS.
* Working as part of the catering team and following instructions from management.
* Food preparation and presentation while working in hospital canteens.
* FOLLOWING HACCP PROCEDURES.
* Ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
* To ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
