Our client is seeking an HV / MV Project Manager for projects in the energy industry.
The HV / MV Project Manager role suits a motivated, practical, and adaptable individual.
Working within a dynamic team, the successful candidate will assist in building and managing complex engineering and construction projects.
The responsibilities include project management and supervision of electrical projects, ensuring delivery within budget and time constraints.
Key duties involve ensuring the Construction Team complies with contractual requirements, providing advice, and monitoring progress.
Manage overall project delivery from inception to completion, including project costings and finance reporting.
Review contractor costs and claims, prepare daily and weekly progress reports, and chair regular meetings with clients.
Identify issues and risks early, resolving or escalating as appropriate.
Coordinate workload, equipment, and resources, and liaise with the SHEQ Manager on safety, health, environment, and quality matters.
Support business development activities, including tendering and networking, while ensuring adherence to customer care principles.
Job Requirements
* Experience working on multi-discipline projects.
* A Degree in Engineering or Management, plus a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, is advantageous.
* Experience in Substations, High Voltage, and Medium Voltage projects is essential.
* Excellent commercial knowledge and understanding.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and diagnostic tools.
* Ability to set clear goals, focus on targets, and demonstrate enthusiasm and drive for quality performance.
* Leadership skills to motivate and encourage team members.
